neural interfaces conference Diskobolos (the discus thrower) with neural interface equipment
By the National Institutes of Health

I’m pleased to announce the 40th Annual Neural Interfaces Conference at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City from June 18 through June 20, 2012.   We expect to welcome over 600 attendees from the Neural Interfaces research community working in areas that include: functional neuromuscular/electrical stimulation, auditory prosthesis, cortical prosthesis, neuromodulation, microelectrode array technology, brain computer/machine interfaces and other related areas.

Our conference promotes dialogue between scientists and offers an environment for them to present cutting-edge research. Not only do scientists discuss their findings, but they also attend this conference to identify new research avenues, network with colleagues and begin new collaborations.  This is a great opportunity for your company to interact with scientists and researchers hoping to advance their efforts through the use of your products or services.

The 2012 Neural Interfaces Conference is a great forum for you to exhibit products, services or findings in the following categories: biocompatibility, biomaterials, biomedical engineering, brain machine interface, cochlear implants, cortical implants, deep brain stimulation, electrical engineering, epilepsy, microelectrodes, motor prostheses, neurology, neuroscience, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, retinal implants and other related areas.

As an exhibitor you will be able to:

• Interact with representatives from the neural interfaces research community
• Meet key decision makers from neuromodulation companies
• Present your products and services before a captive audience
• Attend educational workshops led by industry and academic thought leaders
• Speak with government agencies who provide grant consideration

Everything you need to plan and prepare for the 2012 Neural Interfaces Conference, including important exhibitor information and an application, is below.  You can also view conference materials.  If you have any questions or would like to reserve a booth, please contact  mwebb@guesthouse.utah.edu.

We’re looking forward to hosting a diverse group of scientists, engineers and clinicians who will share their knowledge and experience on various aspects of neural interfaces.
